I'm getting a MP soon and I'm having a little trouble with where it's going. It replaces a GG, but the GG is in a space that measures about 9" (23cm) top to bottom. Shelf on top (on which sits a turntable etc).  No problem with the GG but maybe the MP will get too hot... Any relevant experience?

And the back of the space is more or less open (23" from the front of the shelf to the wall in back).  The sides are open.

Height and heat will always be an issue, which is the major reason I bought the T16, when it was still available. All other TS amps would have been to high to fit on the shelf on my set-up.

I believe that the Mini-Beast is probably slight better the the T16, but I would never been able incorporating them in my system.

So maybe the next TS amp is another amp that actually will fit onto a Audio Rack - ventilation of course has to be sufficient.

Let us know how it works out with your Masterpiece.

I have two T16s too! They're on the bottom, which cages round the tubes.
