Is there for audio measurement? I won't pretend to have insight in this question and why asked. But this query I read has at it's root implied that the measurement of dba is covering up some issues with low frequency artifacts that are shown with dbv measurement. Allowing a prettier picture for the numbers listed. Is the factor of sensitivity to low frequency distortion being elevated into any meaningful attention with it's attenuation by dba measurement?

"A" weighting refers to filtering the signal so that the noise components more directly correspond to perceived loudness.  At the deep bass, the ear is about 60 dB less sensitive than the at its peak at 2200 Hz.
